PORSCHE WINS AT MOSPORT
Congratulations to Andrew Romocki on his first race of the season. Andrew Romocki won the BEMC Spring Trophy at Mosport this past weekend in his white Bestline Auto Tech prepared 944 turbo race car. He also lowered his lap time around Mosport to 1:348.
Andrew Romocki's name will be on the BEMC Spring Trophy next to Canadian Motorsport hall of fame Ludwig Heimrath.
The start of a great track season.............................

1:34.8. Wow. Just, plain, wow. A bit of perspective: my best lap at Mosport is 1:46.3 - 12 seconds slower than this. And that's in a 996 turbo, which eats 944s (even turbos) for lunch on the back straight, even with me driving and sissying-out at 205 km/h. Just shows you what a well-prepped car and, more importantly, a good driver and can do.
