Default Exhaust modification

I think my catalytic converter is going south (occasional fire cracker smell coming out of the exhaust when warm). Before I get the confirmation in 3 weeks when my car is at AUTOWERKS for its annual service, I want to do some homework and would consider converting my catalytic converter to 200 cell. I have TIG welders on tap, but do not know where to get the required material to do the conversion. Or I would be happy to bring the catalytic converter to a specialized shop in the GTA. Any suggestion?

You're think of doing this yourself? It may not be worth the hassle and/or expense. Look into DACH or Fabspeed sport cats. It may be cheaper and have nearly zero downtime. My set should arrive in a week or so. You’re welcome to check them out. Paul can chime in....maybe he'll be able to show you his DACH cats on Saturday. They look sweet!

Default exhaust work

Try calling Scott at Hot Rod Scotts, 416-236-0677, 815 Kipling Avenue or Bestline Auto Tech, our man George knows his exhaust.

Guy's, there's only one solution to your problem...................buy an old euro, no cats, no emission testing, huge hole in the ozone that you can call yours.
Problem solved and don't say I never help you.
