Ronan...pass this on to Ted.
A valuable lesson in customer service.
My pearl stopped working down here in Florida. I tried to have my wife get me a new one. They needed to talk to me. 1 hour on the phone.
$500 for a replacement!?!?!?!
At least one week to get it to me?
Good bye Rogers, hello Bell.

Fido, i have been with Fido for 8 Years and i havent had a single issue with them... Although they are owned by Rogers, their Customer Service is no hassle... i know because my Cable, Internet and Home Phone is with "Rogers" and i wanna bomb them sometimes...

Hmm, I've been on Rogers wireless for almost 3 years now with no problems. The only issue I had was when I was in Niagara Falls (Ont) and got a bill for some insane amount for a couple text messages because a US cell tower picked up my phone. They reversed it all with no hassle at all.

Call ProMobility in Markham. They repair BlackBerry's and might be able to give you a loaner or swap out for a refurb.

18.51 , but as in most things , you are paying for the technology costs to develop and produce a product ammortized over several million units. Don't get me wrong I think replacements should be the cost of repair as Jamie has already payed the initial costs once. But the cost to produce arguement is a little skewed.
I guess you could charge the first guy 12 million and 18 bucks to the rest I guess :-)

Bell, Rogers, Telus, Fido. They're pretty much all the same. I think nowadays, it depends more on who you get to help you support your issues than anything else. Get the person having a ****ty day and guess what..so will your experience be.
I was a Bell subscriber from '92 to '97 then switched to Rogers. I made the switch as I needed to be on the GSM network for work as I travel around quite a bit.

Been with Rogers since 1990 and there have been hicups here and there, but they've always made things right by me. Bell pissed me off so badly that I dumped them for home service and internet after decades of loyalty...Rogers got all my biz. Good to know that Ronan will go to bat for the rennlist guys!

Finally just pulled the plug on Rogers cable and home phone. Too damn many phone calls, billing issues and gouging. 7 TVs and no cable. Thats how bad it got for me with Rogers. I have internet with them cause its my only choice right now, but as soon as I have an option - CYA.
PS - have 2 HD cable boxes FS and one standard if anyone is interested - all Rogers. PM me.
