Hi Guys, just picked up a 2007 997S and got a stone chip first day on the lower right side of the windshield. It is about dime sized including the little hairlines around it. Called DFC and they won't be able to have their guy look/repair it till the new year...Anybody know who in Toronto can do a repair?

The first day, are you kidding?! Wow, that sucks.
Why not go to any apple autoglass or equivalent and
be done with it?

Tend to it before it spreads!

 

Apple Auto Glass or just take it back to the Dealership...

 

parking lot of Crappy tire at Eglinton and Laird has a guy with a little outdoor shop that can fill the crack for you. he should be there today. be careful as if water gets in and freezes it will expand the crack.

I've used apple autoglass twice in the past year...$60 per repair is way cheaper than anything the dealer will come up with.

 

I had a small chip in my TT, when I filled it you could still see it plain as day,I Installed a new wind screen.Thats terrible it happened on the first day, I thought mine was bad 3 days in.

 

thanks guys. Will probably hit the Eg and Laird Canadian Tire I guess, it really is not in a sight line for the passenger so I think I will be good. And yes first day ! Sounded like a bullet ! Almost shed a tear, but it is only a car after all
