That's great news .Doesn't surprise me though as most cars " self monitor" too bad they don't self fix .

If you think the e-test for gasoline engines it stupid then you should see the one for diesels. Cost is the same and it only takes 5 min. it’s all visual and here’s what the “technician” has to look for. Visible smoke while the engine is idling in a 5 min period. It can not have visible smoke for 1 continuous minute within that 5 minute interval. How stupid is that?
