You guys are awesome for doing this, thanks a lot. The car looks clean, and apart from the shifter issue is probably good to go.

The seller is apparently a some kind of used car broker, he bought it off his buddy who was desparate and needed the cash, that was only 4 months ago supposedly so that's why this guy has no work done on the car.

Let me now when you guys have checked out the S2....rennlisters rock, nuff said!

He's not a broker, he works for a painting shop that repaints big truck and buldozers. I think he likes flipping cars.

 

Here is Nick's car,

It's an 89 S2, body is clean and no rust at all. The dash is perfect and the seats are 9/10
It has 148,257Km, does not leak
I took it for a spin and it is very tight, I loved the clutch, it is extremely easy and smooth, it shifts perfectly and bonus, it has an LSD

The engine is strong, I could easily spin the large 18 inch wheels without even pushing, it has a Firehawk chip.

Stephane, thanks again for checking out Nick's car. I'm definitely interested and am going to get more details from him. If things work out I'm going to get a PPI done next week, and then I'm scheduled to be in Montreal likely the week after....

Ash, you definitely should stick with the turbo model, if not this car. you will want the extra power down the road especially if you do any track.
