Sushi Bar's In Toronto
Anyone here a fan of sushi?
At first i didn't really take to it, but I seem to have developped a taste for it (and some bizzard love of wasabi).
A lot of places on my route seem to have some pretty bland entries however, and I was hoping someone could point me to a place of reasonable quality (not necessary pricewise, but fresh sushi with good flavor and a good variety).
And on another note: Fugu, is it banned in ontario?

is there ever any parking on young/eg that doesn't involve paying or having your car used by random kids to have their pimply 14-16 year old GF's pose with?
They should teach kids in hoomeroom that: zippers, buttons and belts scratch, so unless you're nekkid (and 18+) stay off the P-car

they deliver or pick up they will bring it out to your car after calling on cell phone. I park on street outside at meter...usually don't bring the black car.

Some of my favorites:
Doku 15 (hip and new)
8 Colborne St.(@ Yonge St.)
Blowfish (been around a bit but still great)
King +Bathurst
Tempo
596 College St.
Heard amazing things about:
Sushi Kaji (not much to look at but I'm told it is THE best)
860 The Queensway
from Zagat:
“Don’t let your first impressions cloud your judgment” – this “unassuming” 30-seat Mimico Japanese, voted Toronto’s No. 1 for Food, is a “hidden treasure”; with “talent and a wry sense of humour”, “artist” Mitsuhiro Kaji creates “sumptuous sashimi and sublime sushi” from sea creatures who “move from packing crate to dinner plate in seconds” (”fish so fresh it really does flop around”), while his “intriguing and expertly presented” omakase incorporates “exquisite hot dishes” as well; N.B. prix fixe only.

If you are ever in the beaches, there is a neat little place on Queen st. Just east of Woodbine, south side called "Akida".
My wife and I order from them once a week, great folks and fresh tasty sushi. They have the large teppanyaki tables also if you're into that.

- hashimoto on dixie and seats 10 people only! you must make reservations 2 weeks in advance
next tier sushi
- kaji sushi, on the queensway near islington and cafe michi, near the corner of pharmacy and shepherd. michi is affilated with kaji and more affordable.
