I reported in another thread that I had e-mailed Pfaff and told them I just personally imported a U.S. car and would they honour the warranty. If so I would like to book it in to diagnose a system fault warning light.
They called back the next day, said they would be happy to book the car in, and fit me in within a week because of a cancellation. (originally told it would be about 2 weeks)
Well I just took the car in with no problems at all. They even supplied a car rental under warranty. I asked them to clear the service due light and look at some wierd markings on the headlight surround. So I'll report back how everything works out.
With so much negativity lately about getting service on American cars, I figured it would be good to report a positive experience.
Stay tuned!

My wife took her 04 Cayenne in. 78k on it so still under. But the new car warranty expired in march. We ended up paying for a new drive shaft. They did mention that if it were a Canadian car they would have got approval and did it under warranty since it is so close to the warranty date but not with for a US one.

previously it has been posted here that the dealers invented a $400 fee to have a us car checked to allow it to be covered under warranty here. I guess they did away with this fee.

adelaide don't take it there ..
TurboDan i think Gregs car was out of Warranty no matter where he was, The guy was just rubing salt in the wound by telling him they would have gone the extra mile if his car had been a Canadian care.... sorry .. but I am a little skeptical, and I sure wouldn't drive it to Buffalo to ask if they would fix a car out of Warranty that they have never seen before....

I picked up my car today.
There were no charges, no hassles, nothing but profeesionalism and great follow up keeping me informed.
My advisor was Peter Groenke, he is a great guy.
Give them a try.
