I don't remember - can't remember if he even mentioned his name. Probably early 50s, trailered it to the track, only drives it on the track.

What's the msrp for these? I noticed the spec sheet for the elise shows CDN $59K - is the exige much more?

went to gentry lane to see them in person and talk 2 a sales rep.

the exige S are 81G's...84g's with the track package. i asked him if they could bring in a non-S exige and he said no. (dissapointing for me..but still the exige S will be more than enough for anyone).

its a pretty wikid little car....getting in and out is ...well..interesting because you have to step in over part of the chassis...very race car-ish.

will go back and try the elise demo when they get one

Thanks Noble. Did you get the car with the supersport adjustable suspensions? If so, is it PSS9 or some other Bilstein model made specifically for the exige s? Are the adjustors easily accessible witjout having to jack-up the car? I know the PSS9s on air cooled 911s are notoriously difficult to get to the adjustors

the car came in with no track pack...im not sure who the track pack suspensions maker is...i have been told the better and cheaper solution is to get the nitron or ohlins set up from places like www.sector111.com
im going to se how the stock stuff works before thinking of changing

The brochure I have shows 2 suspension packages - sports and supersports. Both are Bilsteins and it says the supersports is 10 way adjustable. PSS9 has 9 bump/rebound adjustments, maybe the tenth adjustment they are referring to is the height adjustment. I really need to see one in the flesh......and hopefully secure a test drive

As a previous owner of a Westfield Super 7 with 198hp. I can only say you have to try a car with a power to weight ratio like this at least once. It is the closest thing you will get to a sport bike but a little safer.
