Default OT: GTA Rolex dealer and typical discounts???

The wife is buying me a watch for my birthday...can anyone recommend a reputable Rolex dealer in the GTA? Also, what is the typical discount that I can expect under MSRP??? Thanks in advance

Humbertown Jewellers in Etobicoke, Dundas and The Kingsway, for new stuff. For vintage VanRiik on Eglinton Ave. just east of Yonge. Both stores have good selection and are highly reputable.

As far as discount goes, it really depends on the model.
Damiani in Woodbridge seems to have a good reputation. I've used Petar's in St. Catharines - no complaints.

Bought my lovely bride (of 25+ yrs) a Rolex couple of years ago. Used Royal de Versailles on Bloor at Bay. The store is a little snooty, but the salesman was great. Strikes me the discount was in the 10% range, but that may depend on the model. Didn't appear to be a lot of room to move once they gave you their intended discount.
.... you must be doing something right

Most models 15 - 20% without trying too hard. Damiani is pretty good.

which model are you going for? that is important as some models are more difficult to get.

Agreed. I think the Green Sub is tough to get and the SS Daytona is pretty much impossible. I just happened to luck into one though.

Thanks guys...for this watch, I am going for a more "dressy" look, so it's the SS and WG Datejust. Hopefully, in a year or two, I can add one of the sport models - leaning towards the Sub date at this point. All the best!

If that's the case, Damiani said they could do 20% off retail without any prompting. Perhaps you can do a bit better. Good luck

Fargo used to have a location just off 401 near 400. I don't think they sell rolex though. I bought a watch from them for my brother as a grad gift and made a cash deal saved taxes and then some.
Have you considered any other makes than rolex? I like breightling, cartier and zenith quite a bit amoungst others.
