I know I only seem to post about 44's, but boxsters are way too common place on my long distance commute, so I don't bother to list them or else this would be called the Boxster spotted thread. No offence guys who own them, but I see them everyday, almost all year round on my 200km daily commute.
Anyhoo. An all black 944 S2 cruising north on highway 12 (Brock st) in downtown Whitby yesturday 3:30pm

Driver was fine after. He was checked out at Lakeridge and sent home. When they first got to him he couldn't reply to a few simple questions. The marshal who saw him hit from the stand at 5 at first thought it was going to be a minor hit as the spin started as a lazy one. Then she 'heard' the impact as he backed it into the drivers right cement wall and called for the response. We had just had a lot of racing over the four days before with rain on the Sunday afternoon and this happened the following day. I gotta wonder if that had an affect or maybe he just got on the power too soon while ontop of those glass like exit curbs without the PSM 'on'?

I didn't see it this past weekend Greg - although the grass drivers left is filled with water and mud all the way up to the phone stand at 5C. A 'no pull off spot' if there ever was one unless you have hipwaders. We had a kid (15!!) in an SCCA F Mazda slide off the exit near the end of the tire wall drivers left at 5B - right at the end of that big sign. He had his nose pointed at the tires and threw it into reverse and dug straight into the grass/bog. One of our guys had to run all the way around the corner with a 10 lbs bottle only to have the kid give him some abuse because he couldn't push him out. He comes back after and says, "I should go to the pits and tell his Mom you've raised an a$$hole brat". We're like, no, no, hang on there, lets be PR about this...
