spotted a lovely white 964 parking at Aldershot GO station this morning....Cliff - beware, there are cameras EVERYWHERE...if you're going to sit in your car and sing to yourself before the train comes, you may want to be a little more discreet !!

Saw her again on the way home from Saturday's GTG Avenue Road & Eglinton.............also at Yonge & Eglinton last week, an all black, tube frame - no body panels - street legal track item that you only see in R&T. Driver all dressed in black incl. full face helmet. Very stealthy, definitely got the looks.

That 959 has been around on and off for sale for quite awhile. Someone I know in quebec region says she has seen it at track days at St.Jovite (Larry also has one but I don't know what colour) so it's quite possible it can't get plates as it may have been brought into Canada as an 'off road' vehicle. Porsche still refuse to have anything to do with these cars and that means reprogamming the ECU as Norton suggests. There is a red one around Toronto with dealer plates on it - but I've never seen one with normal plates here in Canada.

Porsche wouldn't even crash test them back in the day to satisfly the NTHC which in return allowed the US insurance industry to claim they could not give them a 'number' for risk ratings. The other thing was that Porsche would have lost *more* money, (It's said Porsche lost millions making the Euro spec 959) making a US spec 959 for little PR gain.

Transport Canada never had a 'show & display' rule as the US Governement allowed, which is the reason guys like Bruce Canpea and others found a loophole to do a bit of work on these cars (ECU) so they could meet the CARB certification which is tougher to meet then EPA levels.

Rumor has it that the 'circus owner' in Montreal has or *had* a 959... I know his ex wife drives a Carrera GT.

Speaking of the ad - Does anyone know what this symbol on the rear wing is or what it means?

Appears to be a Scottish rampant lion - having been born is Scotland I should probably know the symbolism however don't - I'm sure a quick google could take care of that. That being said it seems like a very expensive car for a Scottsman!!!!

6pm "ish" 401 eastbound just east of the 427. A Silver Diablo in front of a tow truck and behind a silver PT Cruiser. Accident? I eventually saw them pull away. I had some time in the traffic to look, but I could not detect any damage.

A whole pack of Porsches Flying by me on the skyway bridge in Burlington .. not sure If i was suppoe to be using my steering wheel or my Xbox controller .. thought i was in the middle of Forza3
