Yes, it has Florida plates - it's the same car. The 6th Gear day he was at was July 12. Next one is this coming Wednesday, but I haven't checked to see if he's coming.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt (OPP) also dropped by and got a ride in it (there's a photo on some social media platform somewhere). Kerry is a big guy so had some trouble squeezing in with a helmet and the roof on, but he managed to get in!

Likely a different car. Owner said he had never driven Mosport before. He drove the 918 on track over the weekend as well as a GT2RS.
The guy that brought his 918 to Mosport, no. Full head of hair and a race suit covered with patches so definitely not a track noob. Apparently two different people and thus different 918s.

Must be why I only have a 718 coming soon, I am definitely on the bald side , ha. Interesting thread , because as a Southern North American life form I am always amazed at how many Porsches I see when I have visited Canada. I think they may be the official car of Vancouver because I gave up trying to count the multitude of P Cars there!
