I will be driving through Owen Sound this Friday evening (going up to Tobermory) to go camping. If you want I can stop by for ~30 min to meet you. I wouldn’t mind seeing an imported early 32V 928.

Hello Imo000.....I should be here...I keep my 928 at my daughters to keep it out of the way( I'm building a garage). I am due for spin so if all goes well I will bring it here just in case you stop by. Are you familiar with Owen Sound and the streets and avenues? O/S is pretty simple as the streets run east /west and the avenues run north/south. If you come in on 9th avenue/HWY 6/10(6 goes to Guelph) you come down the first cut in the escarpment(do the limit...they love running radar there as they catch you when you break the hill) you will come to the first stop light that is 6th street turn left. Go down 1 and 1/2 blocks I'm on the right. Gray vinyl sided home. It could have a white caravan in the drive or as my son puts it "The Grocery Getter" and the 928 either on the lawn or the drive.

I'll be passing through probably around 8pm.
Work sent me to a conference in Owen Sounds back in June. So I'm somewhat familiar with the town. I have a pretty good idea where your house is.

That was definitely this guy I saw up on queen street, midle aged guy , white 928. I was in my grocery getter so i didn't get a chance to chat.
On a related note
noticed a nice red carrera cab in town recently and also it looks like the red 944S finaly sold from Hayaks. We have quite the collection in town if we could get everybody together.

I've also seen a dark metalic grey 944 2 weeks ago. Is he posting here? It woudl be nice to get everyone to meet up one day.
Right up until last fall there was a mid 80’s 911 that passed behind my house (Townline Rd.) twice a day. It had to have some racing exhaust on cause it was one of the loudest cars I’ve ever heard. Since it had a unique tone, I could her it every time it passed. The best past is that a girl (probably in her 30’s) was the owner, or at least she was always driving it. I’ve seen this car at least 50 times over the 2 years and was expecting to see it again this past spring too, but that didn’t happen. She must have sold the car or moved.
Have you seen this car before?

No haven't seen the mid 80s 911 and I live on Glenvalley so I thought I would have seen it. So far it is just you ,Crooster and I that are posting from Cambridge, and I haven't heard from Chris for a while.
