Late Friday nights prolly won't work for me - but I'd be in for a Sat or Sunday Am brunch thing once in a while (monthly?) - any interest in that approach? Say 10 am - again somewhere with lots of parking and a patio.

Saturday mornings would work well for me. Keep in mind that this weekend won't be so good as it is a long weekend and many people are taking off somewhere (me included!). But lets do this.

Agreed - I wouldn't expect many folks at all this weekend - short notice and long weekend - but there's NEXT weekend!

It appears so - weeknights are typically full of work, sports, family etc. (At least for me).
Weekend mornings are typically quiet on the roads, lots of space to park at the destination, cool crisp DENSE air to make lots of power and bright sunshine to stand around and admire each others cars.
I can't think of a better time to gather and chat about cars. But that's just me - maybe I'll be the only one there??

Weekend mornings work for me! Cool crisp air, great early morning light , hot cup of java and a bunch of p-cars...what's the downside? Wife, daughters and dog all sleep in on weekends and I'm up and about often going for a drive to the starbucks anyway.
