Cambridge GTG?
Finally got the car ready for the season, and I wouldn’t mind meeting other P-car owners in my area. Anyone in the K-W/Cambridge, Guleph area up for a meet during this week?

Hey Imo........Bill up here in the Sound.....My 928 is not ready to go out yet. I have an appointment this Sat for the check out, oil change. How about some night next week?....Shouldn't take too long to get to Cambridge from here....couple hrs maybe....I'm due for a run...........Bill

Next week is good but it would be better you if we organize an actuall run for one of the weekends. I don't think it's worth for you to drive 2 hrs each way just for a small meet. Better to do at least a half day drive/run.
My weekends this month are all taken up (my brother is getting married). So untill the last weekend of May, I can't do anythign on the weekends.
As soon as I can, I'm planning on going to Cayuga and have a little fun at the 1/4 mile. Or perhaps I can go up to a local drag strip around your place. Do you know any up there? I think Grand Band has one.

No strips up this way...Hey Bimmer, how are ya.....Grand Bend would be interesting ,hmmm never been to a drag race before, sounds very ,very ,interesting....we'll have to plan something, I'm all for it.......

Sounds like the drag strip thing maybe a cool place to go as a group. I know another guy from cambridge hangs out here with a nice black 944 also. ( Chris )
All rain this week anyway and I have a Targa :-(
But if we have a break in the weather there may be enough of us local guys who can get together and talk shop at a local Tims.
Imo with you there are at least 3 of us in Cambridge, you me and Chris. I didn't catch what you were driving is it a 928? if it was that would be neat , the three of us drive different cars from years gone buy , an old 911 a 944 and a 928 .. I am sure we would get questions.

Yup my P-car is a 928. Tim Horton’s would be a good place for a meet. Unfortunately the forecast is rain till next Tuesday and my car with over 400hp doesn’t do well in the rain either, so we might have to postpone this sometime afterward. I remember seeing Chris on here, so that would make at least 3 of us is from Cambridge. I know there are more Porsches in the K/W-Cambridge area but none of the owners post here. I saw a very nice 928S4 (silver) the other day making a southbound right turn from Franklin Blvd.
A general meet at the drag strip is also a good idea. Whoever wishes can run their cars or just bring your car and be a spectator. Either way it would be a fun event.

Hey! My 944 was out of service for a week due to a leaky rad hose. It just got it back on the road Wednesday but now the weather has gone crap. By the forecast its not looking good for the next few days.

The family is out of town this weekend .. I'm in .. name the date and time .. We could meet Saturday Morning for breakfast ! Sunday I may go to appleby College for the concours... Just to watch though ..

Hey Imo000.........Damn.......I have already committed to go up the penninsula to a car show in Tobermory this weekend. There is a bunch of BMW owners coming up this way from your area according to Tony in Kitchener. He was a 928 owner now a BMW owner(traitor)..lol.....If you got nothing to do come on up. The show goes from 1pm to 5pm at the ferry dock Saturday.We are meeting in Wiarton at 10am if you or anyone else is interested. I'll get down to your neck of the woods someday....tnx........Bill
