Who's going to Mosport
DE May 6th and 7th.
Who's in?
If you are not driving, come by at lunchtime.
With a donation, you get a ride around the track with one of the instructors.
It's usually a "real good" ride.

That was outstanding. I drove around with Dr Ron Bell and after the first lap he got into it and kept thinking there must be something wrong with my car it doesn't pull anything near this. Oh well it is a Turbo. I first went to Mosport in 62 for the Players 200 and If memory serves, which it often doesn't, I believe Roger Penske won the race in Xerex Special, precusor to the CanAm. Going around that track was very special and next time hopefully I will be driving. BTW perhaps tags should be in order as i have no idea who you are. Either that or we walk around with balloons with our names on it.

I was out there for a couple hours with my 3 1/2 yr old son... looks like a lot of fun. Took a couple of pics of the cars going through #2 and the back straight, nothing great.
It sure looks like fun and the drivers are very civilized... I'm so tempted to take my slantnose out but something just keeps stoping me. I'm out often with my bike turning 1:30's ... what times you guys running?

The red Slant Nose?
You where right behind me. I was going to come for a look but you left.
Everyone is very courteous. Bring out the slant nose. Your Slant Nose will thank you.
Not sure about times as we are not aloud timing devises for insurance reasons.
1:30 is pretty quick. The Cup cars etc should be bettering that.
Jim,
My car has Rod 239 and my sig shows a red Carrera.
I guess I could tie on a ballon so everyone has one more reason to laugh at me.

I helped on grid inspections and probably met everyone. I really enjoyed the day, except for the nasty north wind. Going around the track at speed with the instructor reminded me of riding a rollercoaster. Way too much fun and i'm getting my car tech inspected and I'm signing up for skid school, because I want more of that.

A few people told me that it was a really good event. A friend of mine had a bizarre issue with the rear wheel bearings on his black 996. Weird on how both went at the same time. But before that drama, he had a blast.
