I'm going - gotta rack up some break-in kms on the new 330xi.
I agree - it's a bit low key - but always fun to see the cars that are for sale in the corral and the parts etc that are being sold by other folks.
For those who say it sucks - what would make it better??
Are there better Ontario events and if not- why don't we organize one? But that begs the question - what would make an awesome event??

Jason, thats a really good idea. Lets do it. We need a venue and a decent lead time to organize and pull together some sponsors but I think thats a great plan.

yep, there are quite a few. in toronto there's evolution and i think 5star has one too.
i'm sure one porsche racing team has one. Sean hyland motorsport in woodstock has one.

Jason, I'm serious. I don't know the background on the Pfaff days got started but i expect your concept would require a larger sponsor participation, like maybe Porsche NA and perhaps a few more independants. Getting an audience likely means the event should be close to the GTA and has a program of varied interest, ie DE, or autox, and maybe something like a jeep jamboree, ( you take the GT3 I'll use the jeep). I like the idea of a charitity getting a benefit too. Some years ago two brothers made a New Years dare and that turned into the Oakville Polar bear dip now attracting several hundred participants and raising many thousands of $ for charity.

Back to SIS - I have to agree that's it's pretty low key and nothing really "happens" - but it was still a ton of fun. One of the most amazing parts is actually walking the surrounding streets - looking at all the parked cars - everything from 912's to 924S's and a 911 "supersport" - the only one in Canada.
