You might try AUTO SELECT in Newmarket 905.853.0442
The 2 last PO of my car (84) had ALL of the work (incuding TB) done there, ask for Hans I believe is name is...
Or, you can look at HP CAR (1890 Lawrence ave.) 416.752.7280 ask for Ziggy, they did the PPI on my 84

I know Fiorano do good work , and so does August Lecourt , but I am not sure where he is now, I think in St Catherines somewhere. There is also Ernie at Mantis in Oakville. None of these guys are cheap but all do good work. The only one i don't like is Uli in Kitchener, thinks you are a walking wallet. ...

Is Uli the guy on River Rd? The only time I talked to him, he came across as a "less than helpfull" garage owner.

If you have all the parts for the TB/WP change we can setup somethign and change them. It's really not difficult to do. I've changed the t-belts on my 928s a few times in the past. It's a great way of getting to know your 928, saving some $$$ and learning a few things on the way. One weekend day should be more than enough. I have the T-belt tensioning tool, crank bolt socket and used to have the flywheel lock took too but I can't find it at the moment. However I can borrow the lockign tool from another 928 owner. My garage has all the other tools including a compressor and air tools.

Imo000, I was hoping to meet you earlier, and your offer is very interesting. I enjoy getting my hands dirty and have considered TB/WP change but way to complicated for me alone. I'm working on selecting parts supplier and may even use PORSCHE DEALER. I work for a VW/AUDI dealership and curently working on discounts. Who have you used in the past for parts? If you have the place I will supply the pizza and beer unelss you have champagne taste!

For parts in Canada, you can try http://www.europartsetc.com/ . Some of there prices are very good. Good service too. No PST if you live outside Quebec and no Duty

Randy is the owner and he knows me as the "928 brothers". My brother and I are twins and we both have 928s. They have very good prices and can get most of the parts by next day. I've also bought a few parts (timing belt tensioner roller) from the Dealer PFAAF Porsche. Also I've used 928 international couple times. They have a really good price on the T-belt tensioner arm busings and the hood shocks are alos very cheap when you compare it to PFAAF.
If you decide to to this yourself and need help just let me know.

To draw on your experience, what parts should I have on hand to complete the job? All and any possible bolts, seals,clamps,bushings,gaskets, is good to have onhand while doing this job. Would you suggest rebuilding the TIMING BELT TENSIONER UNIT?
What is your free time like these days? I am prepared to pay you for your time, do you have a work area?

https://www.928gt.com/default1.htm click on "928 Specialists's Kit" and select the apropriate kit for your car. You can use this to order everything you need. Also here is another link that has detailed procedures of the job. http://members.rennlist.com/pirtle/tbelt.html#get Rebuilding the tensioner is a good idea. That way you don't have to worry about it till next t-belt change.
I'm building an intercooler for my 928, however it's still driveable so I can drive her out to get your car into my 2.5 car garage. I'm fairly free these days so we can do this as soon as you have all the parts. I'll need a little notice to borrow the flywheel lock first. As far as paying for my time, pizza and a couple beer is all I'm need!
