Mike,

Use the "928 Specialists's Kit" as a reference, then order all the parts. This way you will have everything needed for the TB/WP job.

Now something else that I would like you to consider.

I don’t have a problem helping you change the timing belt and the water pump. I do have some concerns if I have to do the work myself and need to clarify this first. As I stated before, I’ve done a few timing belt changes on my 928s in the past, but never for someone else. I’m very comfortable working on all my cars, but somewhat reluctant when it comes to other people’s vehicles. The main reason for this is the possibility of the unknown. For example, if I’m working on someone else’s vehicle and something unexpectedly breaks or cracks, I would feel really awful. This is partially the reasons why I don’t want to be paid for the work, the other is that I like helping out others. Also if there is a payment involved and something goes wrong (not saying it will) I can become liable for that. If you have this work performed by a shop, they would have the ability to cover anything that might come up during the work. They are also fully insured to cover any mishaps that might occur. I want you to consider all the possibilities before you make your final decision.

Since I'm not part of the PCA and my car is out of comission (intercooler is not finished yet), I will not be attending the march meeting. However, if all goes well, I'll be going to Hershey this year.

Good point let me reconsider your offer. Exactly your thoughts running through my head, there is so much that can go wrong. The Audi mechanic is doing some stuff for me; MM and soon strut replacament, he also wants to do TB/WP, although he is a good mechanic, I'm not confortable!
Prerhaps Auguste will do my TB/WP aferall.
Lets meet soon, nice weather is here.
