What's this "Never Tracked" stuff anyway? This car is a track car. Anyone who hasn't tracked this car either doesn't know what they're doing or took 21,000 kms to figure out they bought the wrong car. Do I want to buy a GT3 that's never been tracked more than one that has? I think I'd be looking into more than that. Track guys change the oil regularly, have the brakes done regularly, alignment checked, etc. Gotta think that a car that's been tracked but treated properly is going to be better than one that's just been bought and driven 21kms and barely seen the inside of a service shop.

Yep- that baby i pretty loaded with non-GT3 crap - price is interesting but I guess reflects it was loaded when ordered.
Still a great car and will be a bargain next to the 997GT3 and frankly just as fast with most drivers - anyone get the lowdown on how much faster - I heard only 5seconds faster at the 'ring.

Not a bad deal based on sales I've seen in Montreal. Two have sold for around 135K but had nice extras like GT3 seats, extra wheels etc.; Both were tracked, but that's what they're made for. I didn't see anything about "never tracked", was that on the web site?

Depends on who you believe. 5 seconds on a 14 mile course is nothing. imagine that at Mosport. What is that...1 second?? Yes, I think I'll spend an extra $50k for that please!

Bob - in the "Notes" section it says "Never Tracked or Wrecked". I'm guessing the sticker price for this would have been something like $160k or so with the PCCB (which are more of a libility than anything!)? I tell you, that '02 GT2 from the US at about $US 120k or so sure starts to look nice in comparison!

Dave - thanks, I didn't notice the notes section. The PCCB are a liability for sure. Figure about 7K to retrofit steel brakes, new rotors all around and new calipers n back.

Kilr - if the car has been tracked a lot by a fast driver, the PCCB would show some wear I'd think. Pfaff are straight shooters, were they misled do you think? Is this Jason's car?

Jose D. traded in his M3 at Pfaff for Jason's GT3. I got an email from him after his first day at the track and he seemed very happy with it. Don't think he will be selling it any time soon. He was lapping last year at Tremblant during the Russell schools and said he will look into Rennsport events this year.

Just an FYI - if you're in the market - http://www.huntingridgemotors.com/ca...d=1318&subcat=
With conversion and the 6.1%, it's 117k CDN w/o a discount.

Couldn't have spent too much time on the track ...

No affiliation blah blah blah

Is that Chris Pfaff's car? I had the option of buying his white GT3 with carbon bits on the inside but they wanted a ridiculous $155 or 160k when I ordered my S in Dec. of '04. I passed.

I have been thinking of picking up a used one in 1-3 yrs to use as a track car but not at $135 and I really don't think I want PCCBs.

Did you guys see that Pfaff's GT3 cup car which was really beat up last Labour Day weekend at Mosport is also for sale http://pfaff.porschedealer.com/event...hp?newsid=1615 .
