Hey, I've raced motorcycles for 22 years myself and am no stranger to fast stuff. 928's are really great cars for a lot of reasons, and many of us are hard core 928 fanatics. A 911 turbo, 951, and 928 are all going to feel very different and be great cars in their own ways.

If you have never driven one, you really don't know. I try not to have opinions on how good or bad other cars are if I haven't driven them. I think it would make me an ***.

well i have driven one , i never said i haven't. now is my opinon valid?i bet it isnt. seems to me that 928 owners have an inferiority complex..however 996 and 997 owners cant make decision without the whole board advising them. maybe thats the way it has to be. waht did you race?? i do 600 roadrace and the past few years did flat track with rotax 604 and honda 450...some ice in winter but only practice. my only victory came in 250 GP on my TZ

Cr500 are brutal..you might like supermotard...i really like honda 450 it is fast and smooth. did alot of trail riding on honda 450 and last year on a KTM 400..go to the track on a street bike...im sure you will do great. lotsa MX guys do well once they get over the fact they have to lean the bike!!

Noble,
I think the problem we as 928 owners have with you is that you made a derogatory comment about a car you really have no knowledge of, while I'm sure many of us would be more than happy to set you straight you apparently have no interest in truly experiencing what it's like to drive a 928
why not check back with us in 25 years and see how your 997 stacks up against the new cars of that generation
I have a 78 that weighs in right at 3k lbs, completely stock, which kicks the butts of most new cars without blinking an eye
just because I own and drive 928s doesn't mean I don't appreciate 911s, FAR from the truth, I love 911s but it doesn't "fit" what I want in a car
the true measure of a car isn't how fast it goes to 60mph
that being said, if you find yourself in NC let me know, I'd be happy to get you some seat time in one of my sharks, I think you would come away with a much different opinion

Hey NobleGT3,

name the place and the time, i will bring you a Saudi spec 928GT and we'll see GT3 or 928GT is gonna win. Give me a break, if there was ever a snob Porsche, it is the 911 crowd - no offence to anyone. The 928 is one of the best Porsche ever build, and yes all Porsche with no VW origin.

Sincerely,
Khaled

Being mentally 13 and physically alot older isn't something to brag about. Sensitive old women? If anyone is the woman here, it's the lady who can't accept the truth. If your only arguement is that the car is old and heavy, please get in touch with some. If your car is blown away by an "old and fat" pure Porsche, how does that say anything for you? 928's are older - sure, but there are newer ones too kiddo. Do ya know how old 911's are, or does this completely evade you? They are still a formidable car, which shows how well made they were. They were named the fastest production car ever for a number of years, and handle great. Please, get your facts straight. The 928 was and still is a supercar in my opinion.

I am new to 928's, but I think I probably know alot more than you. Your type is old...sorry.

With the rear engine and no pop up headlights, it's definitely not like a 928. Much more like a VW Beetle I'd say.

One short sentence, and yet a number of things in it that wouldn't at all surprise me about this guy.

#1- That he's in prison
#2- That he'd have to rape someone to get sexual satisfaction
#3- That it would be another guy that he'd rape

I'm 99% sure NOBLEGT3's avatar is a self portrait.

Has anyone played the Mark Anderson card yet? That is always a fun addition to these threads.

You may not be a liar, but you are a dumbass.

Let's get this straight...
3500lbs 345HP 365ftlbs 180+mph fat and lazy
3200lbs 355HP 295ftlbs 180+ mph not fat and lazy

A 928GTS would probably slaughter a 997S anywhere above the US speedlimit. A GT or S2 would do any even better job, but an S2 would hit redline before getting to the top speed of the others.

BTW, you're not important enough for everybody to PM each other about. Somebody simply made a post in the 928 forum so the rest of us would know to come over here to have fun embarassing the dumbass.

Anybody else notice that nobody else is jumping in on Noble's side?
