Why would you want to be a Canadian Citizen if they are all sheep?
" as we find a place to go"
Okay.

Westerners ride horses and carry pea shooters.
Residency is not Citizenship. Residency is for taxation.
If a Canadian becomes a US citizen they are required to renounce their Canadian citizenship by the US. However, Canada does not recognize this.

Haven't really absorbed the dialogue..but YYC930 has similar sentiments to me. I have never been so embarrassed to be a Canadian in the aftermath of September 11....our "governments" response was small minded and petty, until of course it saw where things were at and then the response began and then timidly at that.
My response, recover my Dutch citizenship and start plans to head back at some point in the not too distant future. And is Holland "better" than Canada? No, not really, it has laws which just suck and a social system that would gag Bill Gates' cash flow....but at least the dialogue is honest and rational.
I have gone from a lifetime of being an ardent Canadian nationalist to someone who likes Alberta, but couldn't care less about the rest of Canada. And, please have another vote on Quebec separation, preferably one where I get to vote YES!
