My business partner started looking for a car - specifically a 944/951/968 after I told him how much fun DE was at Tremblant in September. We both figured he'd look for awhile to find the right car but we were wrong. During his brief search this beauty revealed itself. It was located in Tulsa, OK. No big deal though.
1995 968 w/35000 miles. One of only 195 or so coupes to make it to North America in 1995. Tom Charlesworth (head technical guy in the PCA did the PPI) The car was originally owned by a guy in Missouri with a fleet and was bought by another guy in Oklahoma 18 months ago who also has a GT3. As you can see the car is spotless. Very, very few marks anywhere. We flew down to Tulsa Thursday morning and drove it back to Ottawa arriving last night at 11pm. Absolutely no problems with the car. We cleared US and Canadian customs in about half an hour at Sarnia. If anyone says that bringing a car into Canada from the States is a big production don't believe it.
My friend is definitely geared up to be a Rennsport DE participant and will be joining shortly.

That is a beautiful looking find. A rare '95 plus the low mileage...
Do you mind me asking how much your friend payed? Curious to know since I've had a half an eye on a 40,000 km '92 968 coupe that is also in very good shape at Segal, and they want 38.5K and I don't think they are interested in budging in the price.
Anyway, your friend made a great pick. 968's are underrated and I think will be very desirable in the future.

Ah, the DE bug. Gotta love it. You go to your first DE and less than a month later, a buddy has already picked a car for next season.
Beautiful car BTW. Look forward to seeing it at Tremblant next year.

Truthfully, DE days are something we've both wanted to do for many years.
My phone call back to the office on the first day accelerated his purchase. With how much fun I was having at Tremblant I knew he would enjoy it too.
We've already been over with the car to see Geoff Wright and his 968 and the guys at AutoImport had it this morning.
