I've signed up for the DE in mid-sept at Tremblant. but need a helmet. I've gone to Ottawa Goodtime Centre to at least try some on but all they have are motorcycle helmets. Shoei and Arai fit well-especially the Arai but no SA rating. Problem is I need XXL and AutoImport has SA rated helmets sizes up to XL but it was too tight. Where to find SA rated XXL?

I can mail order a helmet no problem but how do I know what it'll fit like?

I want to get a good helmet that fits comfortably and that ideally isn't too big (I'm 6'4"-head hitting ceiling liner). I don't mind paying a bit more for quality if it is required as I only have one head. Is a motorcycle helmet ok? I've read conflicting messages.

I'm going to be in Toronto for the ALMS race on Sat. & Sunday. Any shops down there carry the right helmet?

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Crazy, In Montreal try RMR 514 339 5722 they carry Bell and Sparco. Maybe they have your size. Ask. Mike K and I will see you at the Rennsport Event. Yoou'll also meet PT, Late Apex and other Rennlisters.

Eric is a friend of my mom's former piano teacher actually. Eric, as well as a good number of members of the Rennsport region store their equipment in my yard at work in Ottawa.
