This is the car that was shipped to a dealer in Winnipeg, purchased by a guy in Northern Ontario. He had a friend at Porsche Germany who shipped this car to Canada for him. But the customer tried to sell it to turn a buck, and Porsche did not like it. He kept it for a few years and tried to sell it on a couple of occasions but no one offered him the $ he was asking. Then the market for the GT2 fell and the rest is history .....

Nonetheless, $200K is probably a fair price, since he paid over $300K with tax.

An offer in the $295K range was made to him 2 years ago, but he turned it down. It was the 1st GT2 in the country and he got it before the large Porsche dealers got one.

That's expensive 2,500kms of driving.

I have a Canadian spec, two owner, 2002 GT2 with 4,200 kms for sale.....$ 195,500 + GST (MSRP $286K)......no accidents.....no stories.

PM me if interested.

KLZ knows me....I bought his GT3 a few months ago after meeting him here and have just changed my present username from "Sharkdriver" to "YYC930".

I am a used Porsche dealer in Calgary. And FWIW.....I have sent an e-mail to J. Munson to see what it costs to sponsor the site. I will be buying a membership here as well. I know people don't take kindly to guys spamming the board.....thus my remarks in that regard.

Cheers.....!!
