finding an early 911 in ontario?
I'm in Toronto and looking to pick up a 911...
- 1965-1973
- S preferrably, E or T ok
- no Targas
- rust ok, but must be non-terminal
- in need of restoration
- $5-10K
- hopefully not 'updated' to a 'Turbo-look' or any other such nonsense
Basically looking for an early 911 to restore, though I'll also consider running but in need of some lovin examples. (Won't be able to afford a pristine example... and what's the fun in just buying one to drive it ) Anway, can't find early 911s for the life of me on eBay or AutoTrader.

hahaha, it's a place of it own for sure. Why does it have such a reputation?
I've lived here for 32 years now and it's changed but there are still lots of the original inbreds living here.

Three Wheelin'
My cousin lived in Keswick. I don't know why but I loved making fun of him and calling him a Pickle Farmer. He drove a Keswickian Limousine, a GMC Suburban.

Now, be nice Alon. My daughter bought her 1st new house there 2 yrs ago. And my son's will be built this spring/summer. It is not what it used to be.
I bought my 1st run down but affordable house in River Drive Park (not far from Keswick) back in the mid-70s. Now THAT was a charming area at the time.

Ignatius,
I know you said "No targa" however we have a project 1974 911 Targa in progress. Body was disassembled and soda blasted and resprayed. Interior is still out and the engine is still on the stand. Car ran before we started the restore. We have been too busy to complete the project. Let me know if you are interested.
