Out of Province Private Party Transactions...
I'm looking to purchase a P car privately from out of Province and the seller wants a deposit as a sign of good faith. How can one protect their deposit should one choose to do this....Any input would be appreciated

Paypal is setup exactly for the reasons you describe. Also, try an E-mail money transfer. It leaves a healthy electroonic history of the transfer and the reciept. It has been used in legal battles before.
