One drove by me this morning and the driver looked like someone that would typically drive a G wagon. Which got me thinking why someone would actually buy this vehicle. I understand why there is/was a market for similarly ugly vehicles like the Pontiac Aztec and the Nissan Cube, i.e., attractive price points, and people on a budget. But if you can afford to shell out the dollars for a cyber truck, there are way more attractive options out there and other vehicles that don’t make you look like an utter d bag.
I had one on pre-order but didn't follow through on the purchase. When I saw it up close I couldn't do it...
My good friend bought 2 of them early on and shipped them to Nigeria, where he made some good $$$$$$.
I've seen two of them broken down on the side of King Rd in the past 3 months.
I'd never buy anything from a juvenile douche that names his company's mainstream models "S 3 X Y".
The CT (even the use of the term "cyber" is...what's the word kids use these days? "cringe"?) is a child's concept of a truck scrawled on a Chucky Cheese paper place-mat.

Did it get your attention? Did you look at the person driving? I think you have your answer.
Perfect vehicle for a company putting a wrap on it trying to get eyeballs looking. It's not for everyone, and not my taste, but I'm glad it exists in the sea of monochrome crossovers.
I will say in a world of bland generic SUVs, it's nice to see something that looks unique.
I wouldn't buy a cyber truck but support the design and execution of them. Absutely insane presence on the road and all sorts of engineering firsts. Not the car for me, but for a manufacturer to come to market with something that completely unique is commendable in my eyes. The more hate these special vehicles get, the more likely we are to see the road filled with Chinese made model 3 clones with different badging in them.
For some reason, my kids and I have this thing where we yell out "CYBERFRIDGE" every time we see a Cybertruck on the road.. lol It's a pretty ugly vehicle IMO but I've never associated the vehicle owners as d bags tho.. At the end of the day I could care less what the next person drives and I've always been a live and let live kind of person so whatevs. You wanna drive a butt ugly vehicle, go right ahead..
