ECC Tune in Toronto?? Need Your Feedback
Sorry I posted this under 992 thread but not getting any traction in response so posting it here since ECC Tune is located in Toronto.
I am looking into a tune for my 2020 C2 and it appears M Engineers seems to be the go to tuner for our platform. I am curious if anyone here used ECC Tune in Toronto and if so how did you like it and was there any issues? The reason I am looking into ECC tune is because they are located locally where I live which can make things a lot easier for me if there was any issues. Just want your input and review or experience with them would be great.
They appear to do a lot of tunes for Porsches, Mercedes AMG, and Lamborghini's.

While not the same car as yours but I flashed my vehicle from a reputable tuner at home. No issues for 3 years straight but I will emphasize my car is old, slow, and the software is archaic, and nowhere near as sophisticated as compared to your car.
and have used Softronic on 987.1 - for a naturally aspirated file, it was quite worth the money.
ECC had to bench flash my ECU’s, No issues since they were tuned.
Softronic was used with their handheld device and my PC to send the file off. DYI tuning. Very easy to do.
You mentioned ME and yes they datalog but its basically off the shelf. I have used Softronic before and was happy with them - Scott is great to deal with. Its all basically the same stuff and ME charges a premium. Is it worth it? Seems they are just great marketers.
There are some very long tuning threads on the 992 board which you should review if you havent already. I wouldnt hesitate to use any of the reputable OTS tunes and you can just do them in your driveway
My 2021 S had a tune on it when I bought it unbeknownst to me. It threw a transmission failure error a few times which scared the ****e out of me. Took it to the dealer and thats how I found out it was tuned. Had it flashed back to stock and it has the warranty extended till summer of 2027. They were non committal as to whether the engine warranty would be honoured so may go back to Softronic at some point but the S is pretty quick in stock form (tuned it was crazy)
Would likely cost less than off the shelf variants and you can talk to a person that can explain what is being done and offer some options.
