It is a serious bit of kit and very competitive, not overpriced compared to competition. I would worry about the depreciation relatively to Porsche for instance though I have no hard data , just a concern.
Awesome. I found the stock car impressive vs. the F488 and Hurican for way less money. No manual though, so not an option for me. Seems a bit excessive too. I prefer the Z06.

It's a tough one to compare. Nothing like a Ferarri and all that comes with being a Ferrari. I've thought the 488 is where it kind of stops for me, I liked the 458. Never had one.
If excessive, you mean the wing. That's an option pack. But I actually think it ties the car together better aesthetically (aside from whatever function it provides), that rear end is troublesome for me, but the wing helps. Z06 wing doesn't make it better for me.

Yeah would be for sure. I wonder if it could go the way of Viper ACR Extreme...I so thought of buying one when they talked about killing the Viper. Lusted after that car since late 90s. Didn't and now look at prices, wouldn't buy now though unless I had some sort of money tap.
But given ZR1, might hold well or loose less over long period. Not sure about appreciating in value, depends how many they make and for how long.
These and z06 will be an interesting ones to watch for depreciation. The regular c8s are sitting unsold and dropping quickly used. Normally there would be a bunch of early base c8 buyers flipping up to the higher models but the gap now would be pretty huge. My local chev dealers entire showroom is filled with c8s, definitely doesn't help them feel "special".

My local dealer has 15 Stingrays on the lot. Used? I don't wanna stereotype Vette owners, but they seem to be a certain demographic that doesn't really listen to reason. They never price their cars properly. Don't need to sell. I know what I got.......It's a couple of options short of a Z06/Grand Sport. It's one of a kind. Blah Blah. Full disclosure, former Vette owner.

Guys I'm heavily involved in the C8 market and most of the comments above are true. Unbelievably used C8s are still pulling some good auction numbers and I assume heading south due to the currency difference.
C8 Stingrays - you can easily walk on the lot and receive at least $10k off and more on left over 24s (those come with 0% financing up to 60 months). Dealers are also offering deals on 2025s sitting on lots as well.
C8 Z06 - still loads of Z06s left over from 2024 across the country and I've seen up to $20k off...shop around. Deals on both 24s and up to $10k off on 2025s as the 2026s start production in June.
C8 E-Rays - I've seen up to $20k off on remaining 2024s and deals on 25s. Again the 2026s are coming...
