Porsche at Weissach
<sigh> Alright, I think it's just frustration... my 928 got smushed last month... been looking for a replacement... voila, a nice 84 928S was on Weissach's inventory... bingo! Called them this morning and it was there, said I would come in to look at it and work something out... Got there in the afternoon and the sales person who owns it said someone came in earlier and they already worked out a deal for it... and worse was that it was apparently on the inventory for 2 months (of course my car wasn't dead back then) 
Bad luck and timing I guess? Grr... hmm, was it one of you guys who bought this? If it was someone on the list I wouldn't feel as bad, maybe...

Hey Jumpydude....I lost mine just this month in a collision. It wasn't me man. I just wanted to let you know that my 928 was an 84 - 5spd ...I'll be looking for a replacement soon though. Good-luck

Yikes, talk about bad timing. I just sold my 86.5! Had I known a Rennlister needed one you could've been the first person I'd contacted (especially since you're in Vancouver!).

I know of a very nice and well-kept 86.5 S in Victoria - contact 250--727-8110 ask for Dana for more info. It might be gone by now, I think it was around 15 or 16K. Major stereo upgrades too. Current owner is really fussy and a car polishing expert - which is good...
