Any EV cars the past few years has been a flop. Look at how much the Taycan dropped in price in the used market.

You can pick one up for less than $88K now for just under 30,000 kms. They literally dropped almost half the price...which is pretty crazy.

The car isn't worth much once the health of the battery is dying as it will cost you over $50K for battery replacement.

Another option is the Emira brand new. I would prefer a newer CPO GT4 but if I need to pay 120k for a used 981, I'm tempted to look at other options.

I don't get it... $120k range will get you a 981 and the 718 GT4 is more like $135-150k. You might be able to close that gap a bit through negotiation but that is the state of the market. If you want the car, up your budget and get it done or move on... life is too short to complain about that sort of delta. IMO of course.

Agreed, if you find the right car for 10-15k more….buy it and enjoy it. You will regret not getting the right car.
Personally I think the 718 Spyder is a better car of the two unless you going to track.

Noone is complaining. Just shouting some ideas on the Canadian forum. Don't feel the need to respond if it's too much hassle.

The 718 GT4 would be a car I would like to use on track, yes. I have 992 cab for daily.
