N Spec Difference
After reading dozens of posts saying there is nothing different about N spec tires, boomboomthump's post #77 on the 993 Forum thread "Tire Decision" shows and explains the clear difference. They look like PS2's. Amazing that none of the suppliers came up with this. Hats off to boomboomthump for one of the most useful posts and a hilarious handle.

I'm still skeptical...I'd need to see more data rather than cross sections to believe it's more than just marketing hype.

it 100% is.
during the end of covid, a GT3 came in needing CPO checkover. The tires on it were brandy new Michelin’s - they were NOT N2 and the local dealer made the owner buy 4 new N2 spec tires.
N2 was not available when the older tires needed replacing.
They would not sell the extended warranty until new tires were on the car.
