Just came back from the two-day introductory Performance driving course at Barber in Birmingham Alabama. Long road trip from Toronto but far exceeded my expectations. First class operation from start to finish.
Minimal class time both days followed by skid pad, braking exercises, autocross, and tons of track time mostly in 992 GTS' and some Turbo S time on the second day.
Fantastic instructors and I was surprised how fast they had us up to speed while following their lead.

Thanks. The two-day at Barber is incredible. There were a few PCA instructors there taking the course to sharpen their skills.
My laps are too pathetic to showcase, but for those interested I've attached an instructor lap video so you can get a better feel for the experience, and a preview of the hours of fun you will have on the track over two days!

 

If anyone is planning on heading to Barbers, PM me if you want to drive some fun local roads. I live about 5 miles from the track.
