I just do not get too worried about this stuff. Cars are about experience and using them.

Sometimes they get scraped ,now and then stolen and so on. However, the daily enjoyment is all you have at the end. For me it’s about using them as I see fit and each of us has their own take on how that happens.

in this case the driver made some very bad decisions and will pay the price.

If I were to worry about driving a good car I would revert to a grey Chevy Malibu and then could feel secure.

This right here. Always seems sad to see a 5-8 year old GT3 or RS with under 5k mileage... like what is the point and who are you saving it for?

I'm over well over 40k on my car and although I don't drive it as much as I should that is far more about lack of time than any desire to keep it fresh for the next owner. Speaking of which it might be time for my annual Costco run in the RS.
