A+ on exterior. C+ on interior. I can't get over the screen overlay interior and nightclub theme interior lighting. It's lost on me!

Porsche doesn't have anything to worry about. Any Benz is best served cold on the used market. Full disclosure I am a Mercedes guy.....

For sure, it's looking like the previous gen is the better car. This gen maybe a better daily/grand tourer.

If buying new, I would cross shop this car with an M8 competition, AM vantage, Maserati Gran Coupe. Z06... as the wild card. Unfortunately they don't make R8s anymore.

Depreciation and maintenance costs maybe the deciding factor as there is value to be had here, if you're looking outside of a 911.

More of a vantage competitor, I believe Carwow raced it against the TT and R8 and came in third...

The GF and I thought the previous generation AMG had the best seats of the Lambo, Maclaren, Ferrari and Vette. Other than the Ferrari they all felt a bit numb and heavy compared to my tt.

Nice driving car, sounds great. Instrument panel would take some getting use to as well as the giant ipad infotainment interface. Then there is this….


BTW, I have a 992 Turbo S on order having owned 2 previous V8 AMGs….

The screen would drive me crazy. Like a Tesla.

Still, a very capable car no doubt.

Interior wasn't as objectionable as I imagined. Screen is not as in your face as some YT videos make it seem. I presume you can turn lighting off.
