Remember the Tesla ad where they ran a Cybertruck towing a 911T on a trailer and it beat an identical 911T on a drag strip?................
Well, Motor Trend re ran the same test in identical conditions and it turns out to be complete hype.

Not even close.

To be sure 0-60 in 2.6-sec from that "thing" is impressive straight line performance, as is 12.8-sec 1/4-mile times when towing 4000+ pounds. But Musk's blatant, disingenuous claim and the manipulated, massaged demonstration borders on corporate criminality. I'm glad MT and EE took them to task.
