well i had to lok for that video i posted i had seen it before . i lust googled "Macan rust" and there was a lot to sort through.

But bottom line is cars rust , i think its about being diligent about how you protect it.

 

Agree, it's common. My son and I replaced the front springs on a Touareg recently and found springs in great condition at an auto wrecker and had the job done inexpensively.

 

Coil packs are cheap. The fluid is the culprit on the TC's. Change it every 3ish oil changes. Easy and cheap. We had the issue on our '16 S and a fluid change fixed it. Night and day smoother.

i have also decided to self insurer. But 4K is definitely not being put aside. Nice thought though.

Im investing in tools now, I need to start doing my own **** because these prices for simple maintenance are unreasonable. Car don’t drive in the winter so any catastrophic failure will just see it collect cobwebs.
