Default Enclosed trailer recommendation?

Im looking for an enclosed trailer for a Turbo S, to haul it down into the USA for the winter months.

Does anyone have any recommendation to a good make and model. I will be pulling with a newer 1 ton Duramax.

OR if anyone has something for sale, Id be open to hearing about that as well.

Cheers

Look at ATC. Bluewater is a dealer near London.

solid trailers.

also look at Aerovault. Seem well made and if you only need space for a car and few bits, then all you need. Spoke to daughter and founder at Rennsport, good people that care.

i own neither yet but have researched.

Miska Trailers in Waterdown area makes their own and I believe they have car haulers.

Are there any large trailer dealers in alberta then? Rhyming off a bunch in ontario is useless for you.
I'd look for a 8.5'w x 24'L tandem axle enclosed car hauler. Should be setup with a proper ramp door and tie downs.

anything else is cosmetic add-ons up to you if you want.

Definitely go for a 24ft if the budget allows it , i have a 20ft for my SP2 car and with all the stuff i carry it's barely large enough.
You never have too much room in a trailer ...

Cheers

Thanks guys, I will look into the ATC and a 24ft

I wanted something low enough and with a side door. My folks have a hauler for their classic cars, but the 911 doesn't work well with it.

Now that you mention low enough. Check out Futura, saw them at Rennsport too. Interesting products. I think if enclosed I would still lean ATC for size and options for track and transport. Low ramp options are available with Race Ramps.

Going to check these guys out today. They have two ATC, they look really nice and set up well. He said they are actually designed around a GT3, perfect!

Thanks guys.

So I went and looked at these two ATC Rom300 trailers, they are nice, but wow are they expensive for a little aluminum can that they are. These both had hail damage, one is 31 the other 38k....

Think I am going to look around more. I don't necessarily need aluminum. The price is pretty steep I feel for what they are.... Without hail damage they want 55k! Crazy.

If anyone has a nice used unit for sale, please DM me.

Cheers

Be patient and find a good used trailer … it’s not like they wear out extensively considered the low mileage they accumulate
over the years , i paid 11K for my 2011 ProLine 7or 8 years ago and it came with full cabinets, a work bench, a screen door , full size side door and a tilted rear
end which makes loading a low car easier.
It has optional smaller doors for a generator and already had a full set of E-track and tow hooks installed.
The only problem is there are more good trailers for sale in the US, no sure how the import details would be ?

Cheers

Ya, ill look online some more. I need something for the end of March. Ill check rental prices, although I hate renting stuff. We plan to trailer down into the USA next winter so a rental might not be ideal for that.

Used even if you have to drive to the US to pickup.

I imported a used Airstream trailer last summer from the US, easy process. Went and picked up myself. Way more inventory and better value in the US, even factoring exchange rate.
