Anybody here have one? I found a 2023, new but no luxury tax on it. MSRP. Thinking of trading in my macan that I just bought off lease. Kids are complaining about no room in the back.
I have a 2008, freshly imported from Japan since they weren't offered here. It has MTM Stage 1, 5.0L V10 and is good for 710hp. 50,000kms and it's mint!
The ultimate sleeper car!
But that's probably not what you were really asking about
Thanks! I just browsed your 997 build thread - very cool. But it stopped part way in Aug 2021. What happened? A 997 is on my list to have one day to go next to my 964 Turbo.

Don't have one but shopped one in late 2021. Didn't get one from a utility perspective and IIRC some reviews I came across....that it isn't as sporty as it's cracked up to be. I haven't driven one to speak from experience. I ended up with a 2023 Defender 110 v8, no lux tax as sales agreement was prior to effective date.

No lux tax, I would definitely consider. Leg room should be better by a few inches than the Macan also.
How did it get exempt from the luxury tax though? I'm assuming it was ordered in 2021?
Not sure why no lux tax. I asked the guy but he gave a mumbled answer that didn’t make sense. Perhaps it was the order date as noted above. I am finding the level of interest in trying to make a deal a bid odd though. I haven’t asked for a discount and am not haggling on trade in price, yet there still doesn’t seem like a sense of urgency on their part.
I ordered my 2022 Cayenne GTS and 2023 992RS back in 2021 and put deposits down. No lux tax on either.
Same. Ordered in sept 2021 as a 22 MY. Allocation in sept 22 as a 23 MY, delivery in sept 23. Lux tax exempt despite the model year change/new order sheet given the initial order date and deposit.

Does sound a little odd that there's no urgency to sell it. Also weird that an RS6 order would take that long (2021 to 2023). Does it for sure have delivery mileage and has not been registered to someone prior for a few hundred kilometer? (Ie: employee)
If MSRP and no lux then that ain't too bad at all. The 2024 performance is out so maybe they are eating the LT? Hard to imagine as I only know of Porsche doing that with the Taycans.
