Default 992 online config update

Has anyone noticed an update to the 992 configurator for us canadian guys within the past day or so? Seems like they changed a few things around and updated the price increase. Thankfully we don't have the USA or European configurator tool yet but I'm sure it's coming.

$143k for a base, and $167k for a Carrera S. When I got my car in January 2022, MSRP for Carrera S was $133k. Who knew Porsche was a better hedge against inflation than gold? 😂

Configurator pricing now includes Luxury Tax, but prices are still up. My decently optioned 992 C4 was $140,800 (minus GST) in 2020...today it would be $177,400 (minus GST). And that's in Alberta with no PST!

That's ludicrous. And I say that with much peace and love to the C4.

Since deposit, I still await an allocation and my build had increased over 45k with price increases and lux tax.
Pretty frustrating 😡

7.8% increase on the base. Options prices remain the same.

Pushing $200k for a bit of extra leather and a sunroof on a 380hp car that you see every day and don't bother to take a second look. Power to you if that is what you want.

My T is sitting at the port at Emden, glad I got my order in before the rise, they also discontinued Python Green paint. I am sure you will see Python Green come back as paint to sample, charging another $13K for the paint. I think now that Porsche is a public company and no longer a halo brand under VW, they are trying to go the Ferrari route and charge even more for every little thing, and also increase demand with long waiting lists and limited allocations. It used to be pre-pandemic you could walk into any Porsche dealership and get an allocation immediately and below MSRR, now that's impossible. I got my T at MSRP, but they added things like GT protection package (ceramic and PPF) for almost $6K, so that is an ADM I guess. I think this T will be my last 911 and I will keep it for a very long time.

I’m in the same boat, I will get my deposit back next week, they have priced me out of the market.

For a long time, Porsche has been charging for every little thing, although never as egregiously as Ferrari. I did want to clarify one thing about their IPO; it was only for preferred shares, not common shares. You get one cent extra with these new shares, but don't vote - the Porsche and Piëch families still have a majority of the voting shares and control of the supervisory board. They'll continue to run the company as they always have and won't need to react to every whim of public shareholders.
