Default GTA Road Force Balancer

Does anyone know of a place that has a road force balancer but does not mind you looking on?

I presume the guys here will chime in and throw in the usual suspects like CEO Tires and Tires 23 but I know Tires 23, for insurance purposes, they prefer to have their customers out of the shop and off to the side. I can't speak for CEO Tires as I have no experience with them.

There used to be a tire place that had a "pen" where customers could look on, but I don't think they exist anymore

Not likely unless you know the shop really really well.

I will be at Tires 23 next Friday getting summer rubber for the Touareg and will ask for you.

I think once before. Is it better etiquette to start a new thread or resurrect an old one.

It's my trans am. Its always had vibration issues(I've owned it since new, 48 yrs). I'm determined to get to the bottom of it this time. Unfortunately, I fear it might just be the natural frequency of the body structure.

Due to insurance regulations, no shops can allow customers in the work areas. If you happen to be a good friend of the owner they may not be as strict in enforcing it, but as a general rule that's a "hard" no.

Due to undercarriage damage that has been inflicted on every car I have ever owned, except my new 718, I now only bring in loose wheels. Insurance is the excuse, but not allowing you to look over their shoulder and see how they're screwing up is the real reason.

Torque and Tire offers a mobile service and has all brand new top of the line equipment. Highly recommend them, they have done a few sets for me including my HRE's more recently.

a couple of points, have you tried just swapping on another set of wheels to rule them out entirely?

Also, any research in chassis / subframe reinforcement. All sorts of subframe connectors available that may help to stiffen the chassis, made a work of difference in some of my cars in the past.
