Don't talk with staff...don't get a lawyer involved (just yet)...don't go nuclear on social (just yet)...find the Dealer Principal and give him/her a chance to make it right.

Agreed long posts tend to get glossed over. Coles notes will suffice. These dealerships will do everything they can to make you go away until their social media presence is tarnished, but even then who knows? I feel for the OP, this is just a **** sandwich.

Is anybody else thinking how can these scumbags put the Tesla BACK in his mother's name after officially transferring to theirs without her signing anything or even knowing? Did they fake it as a sale and forge her signature in order to accomplish that? The paperwork for the transfer back needs to be pulled IMHO.

I managed my mothers SO for a few years. My memory could be off. But a back out needs to be done promptly, before the green bags are picked up from the office. And if the plates are gone then the paper work is long gone as well. The OP should call into SO hotline, they always side with customers and will be able to see all detail regarding the transaction and confirm which office did it.

Was wondering same, but then remembered that the dealers have a dedicated "dealers" line at the MTO and probably are on first name basis with the clerk. Probably didn't require much to switch it back.

The clerk has to call hotline and they need to facilitate the backout. It’s not done by one person. Again SO would have a record and a noted reason for any backout. All transactions are digitally recorded. Even details of the phone calls to hotline are noted in the system.

I would send the dealer the first posting tidied up and tell them that the next step will be to post it with the full dealer info ( including names) in every auto forum in the country as well as to the news media. Tell them you will make them famous.
Once you have posted the full details you lose your leverage.

He may lose the leverage of “I’m going to tell everyone” but he doesn’t lose the leverage that they’re failing to honour a legal agreement and they appear to have illegally changed ownership of a vehicle.

Honestly. In this market the dealer could care less if he tells his story. The thing I’m struggling with is that a dealer would commit to a trade in value from pics…I find that hard to believe.

Anyone want to start a pool on which dealership this was at?
I'll start with 3-1 being Porsche Center Markham and 4-1 being Porsche Pfaff

Very odd then. Reminds me of a post earlier this month on RedFlagDeals Automotive forum that caught alot of traction ie: Dealer sold car to buyer, put registration in buyer's name, then reversed it out and told buyer they are selling car to someone else. Some here may have seen same thread: https://forums.redflagdeals.com/stay...-12th-2599006/

I'd say 65% Pfaff and 35% Porsche Centre Markham. Thereofre, 100% the Pfaff Group.
