i’m not sure why you would care what someone else does with their cars, but ok I’ll bite…
Not that I care, I was just wondering. Most people would hold onto some of the cars you were lucky to come across, provided they were in great shape. I myself hang onto cars (not daily drivers) and motorcycles that I like, although I am sorry for having sold 2 of the 17 motorcycles I have bought so far. Well at least I still own five of them and the only two 911s I have bought...so far. We all need a bigger "Jay Leno" garage.
I understand that a lot of forces have been at play these last few years - fiscal stimulus galore, supply chain issues - but I think that the jury is out as to whether or not pre-covid prices will mean anything for future prices.
Assuming at least two years at 7%+ inflation - thats a lot! New cars are getting jacked with options and ADMs, but just wait, big base price price increases are next.
Rumour in the UK is a 10% increase in Porsche prices this Fall.
Would believe it. Have you read their press release from the conference this week?
Strong profit margin aspirations and cost containment focus. Doing well and want to do even better. There was a sentence in there that eludes to the fact that they provide a lot of quality, engineering, customization, luxury and have strong brand affinity for not a lot of money.
