Despite having been on a waiting list for my 992 for over a year, I have to say I've been really impressed by Porsche Canada's outreach. It seems a bit different than the experience in the U.S. as the corporate office seems to be aware that I've put down a deposit and have a signed order.

Anyway, over the summer they started me on a Christophorus subscription while I wait. Nice, but nothing compared to yesterday. A silver box arrived in the mail and when I opened it, there was a simple diecast model of a 1964 911. Very cool and a lovely touch while I impatiently wait.

I’m in a very similar spot as you! Been waiting for a 992 since 2021, and started getting the Christophorus subscription last year, a holiday card, and now this nice model. Same 1964 911 model that you got, it’s quite detailed.

Very nice!...Seems to vary a lot- I got the usual tombstones and got nothing for some cars and something interesting for others, usually direct from Porsche rather than the dealer.

The US had a nice promo replica of the rear wing for the 997.2 RS but never came here - I tried to get one but no luck. Got a beautiful helmet bag in matching colour for the 991 RS and a nice little display of plastic engravings of the various generations of 911 for another car but that's about it.
