Ken Block Passes Away
Even the most casual of fans would have at least heard the name.
I was amazed and watching him drift Subaru's and some of the stunts he could do in a car, and my heart was in my mouth a few years ago watching him drift up pikes peak.
As with most things in life the odds will eventually catch up. he died yesterday after a snowmobile accident.
So sad. I'm sure others will post links but thought i would mention it for those who didn't hear.
RIP

The accident occurred in Utah's Wasatch County and the Sheriff's Office said that Block was riding on a steep slope when the snowmobile upended and landed on top of him.3 hours ago

A big fan of his (as well as Travis Pastrana, very much his protégé).
He did a lot for the broader sport, and also was a very engaging personality and a real family man.

My best friend of 45 years messaged me this morning on this. My response was "F*ck. Wow. Reminder to us to be careful"
Very sad. Came home from work and re watched Gymkhana 7 with the 4 wheel drive Mustang driving in LA.
