Default 991 Pricing Help

Hello, I’m looking for some help on pricing for 991.2. 7MT C4S/GTS. Looks like market is softening somewhat and that is also counteracted by the weakening of the Canadian dollar. Trying to figure out where the market is…
Here are three cars I’m considering. There’s not much out there and none of them have my ideal spec. Such as it is when buying used in this market. Is the GTS “worth” that much more than the C4S?

GTS $179k.

C4S Halifax $149k

C4S Markham $137k

The car will be my year round daily driver and will put about 20k Km a year on it.

C4S and GTS have the same engine, the GTS has bigger turbos and a higher boost. The GTS also has the same brakes as the S variants, unlike the 992 which adopted the brakes from the Turbo.

Please wait... don't buy now, what's the point of buying now before winter when you can't enjoy it to the fullest extent? The market is taking a huge nosedive, wait it out and we should see 991.2s prices drop even further by mid-winter, that's when you should target to purchase.

Matt Farah does a good job comparing the value proposition of GTS vs C4S in this review. To me, the summary is the stuff you're getting with the GTS isn't very valuable for daily usage, centerlock wheels, stiff suspension etc, vs upping the spec on a C4S to make something better suited for daily use.

Thanks for the replies. I know the differences/similarities between the cars. Both the C4Ss I linked had MSRPs around $155k and the GTS was around $165k. Does a GTS command a resale that is greater than the difference in the original MRSP? I have thought about waiting to see how far the market drops. Is the market in a nose dive or slowly correcting? Supply for new cars is still constrained with demand far greater than supply. CDN dollar has dropped 10 pts in about a month and is expected to drop further, increasing the value of used 911s. And The luxury tax is making a new car more expensive out the door, pulling up the value of used cars not directly affected by the tax.

Nosedive in the US usually means Canada is going to follow. Canada usually lags behind, but the two car markets are similar, even accounting for the luxury tax. Rising interest rates + winter, and inventory is just gonna keep building up. Pfaff and PCO have both stopped purchasing cars from customers, they're only doing consignment.

I've always like the look of the GTS's....997 + 991. I think the 15-20K you pay extra you will get back in lack of depreciation.

* PCO is purchasing my dad's Cayenne coupe. I think they just aren't doing the cars that will be harder to sell.
