You can not beat the fun per $ value than on a motorcycle.
Yep, my Suzuki SV650s cost me less than $7k brand new and gave me a lot of smiles! My wife had a Ninja 250 and we would go for rides together. Was very sad to let it go after having kids.
Ended up having service done at an independent that specializes in Porsche for $525.
Just did the same last week. If the 992 is like a 991 for oil changes, man I am in the wrong buisness. $388 for an hour of labour, if that. Mobil 1 and Porsche parts ran me just under $137 tax in.
please be advised of proper draining procedures for this vehicle. engine oil temperature must be above 80 in order to get a full drain, which could take upwards of 45 minutes if done right.
Considering the engine oil change quantity for the 991 is 7.5 liters, I drain between 8.1 and 8.2 liters (measured). I am in no rush. As for the 80, I know that is required to be able to take a reading on the display, but are you thinking you need that to get all the old oil past the thermostat from the front cooler and lines. The 10.1 liters in the factory manual is for an engine that has been disassembled.
