In Canada I use Pfaff and Porsche Oakville. Pfaff has more experienced parts people. Classifying as online because I do it via email. They are very responsive, send parts diagrams and dig to find the right stuff.

Otherwise in the US, happy with Sunset as I ordered a number of things from them last year. Luke there is great.

For US parts, I either use CBI, Crossborderpickups or just direct to me - depending on cost and urgency. Some courier rates include brokerage fee at certain service levels.

Only if you have parts shipped to Canada, I agree.

Its the BS brokerage fees for 1 minute worth of work that gets me. It isn't bad if they can ship USPS but few if any do. Forget about FedEx and UPS.

Wouldn't it be nice if Canada would open up to business and have shops like FCP Euro, Rock Auto, Pelican, etc. I need two engine lid lift supports for my GTS and I'm not about to spend $234 at the dealer when the same two items go for $61 including US shipping and exchange. CBSA never charges HST on that amount and even if they did, big deal. I am a 45 minute drive to the border and it is a nice motorcycle drive.

But I'd like to buy here if at all possible.
